PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

The ASAP Design Product Development Process is a procedure that is a proven design approach.  It is a combination of business planning, conceptual thinking, marketing analysis, industrial design, advanced engineering, materials and predictive analysis, combined into a phased plan of attack.  This plan assists in compressing the product development cycle and helps facilitate communication and concurrent development of the marketing plan, industrial design, mechanical design and manufacturing processes.

The process is broken down into six phases.  Although your project may not require all of these outlined phases and tasks, they should all be given due consideration.
